Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university. The degree must be from a University in India established or incorporated under a Central, Provincial or State Act, or from an institution recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), or an equivalent qualification. Reservation Rules

  • BC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by the Tahsildar on or after 01/04/2026 and not later than the last date of application.
  • EWS candidates need an income certificate for FY 2025-26 (family income below Rs. 8 lakh), issued in digital format on or after 01/04/2026 and not later than the last date.
  • BCs, SCs, STs and EWS belonging to other States are not entitled to reservation.
  • Reservation for BC-E is subject to the outcome of the litigation pending before the Hon’ble Courts.
  • Local reservation of 95% applies as per the Presidential Order 2025. A candidate is local to an area where he or she studied for at least four consecutive academic years before and including the year of the 7th class examination (or resided there, if no institutional study).

The Rs. 120 examination fee is exempted for the following candidates:

Applicants from other States, except PBD and Ex-Servicemen, are not entitled to the exemption and must pay both Rs. 250 and Rs. 120. Payment is online through Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card. The fee is non-refundable, and IPOs or Demand Drafts are not accepted.

APPSC ASWO ATWO Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

  1. Written Examination (CBRT): Three objective-type papers of degree standard.
  2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Shortlisted candidates, in the ratio fixed by the Commission, must qualify the CPT.

Final selection is based on merit in the written examination, subject to qualifying the CPT. Appearing in all papers is compulsory, and absence in any paper leads to disqualification. Appointment is subject to medical fitness. There is no waiting list, as the recruitment is only for the notified vacancies.
