- Vertical reservation: SC, ST, BC and EWS, as per the A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996.

- Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT): Objective type, degree standard. Appearing in all papers is compulsory.
- Merit list: APPSC prepares district-wise General Ranking Lists and forwards them to the District Collectors.
- Verification and CPT: The District Collectors/authorities shortlist candidates after verifying original certificates. Shortlisted candidates take the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

- Visit the official website https://psc.ap.gov.in.
- First-time applicants must complete the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR). A user ID is sent to the registered mobile number and email. OTPR alone is not an application for any post.
- Log in with your OTPR ID and password, then click “Online Application Submission” at the bottom right of the home page.
- Click “Fill Application” against Notification No. 25/2026.
