Educational Qualifications

For AEE/Electrical Position: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a university established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or State Act. Alternatively, any qualification recognized by AICTE and approved by UGC as equivalent on the date of notification issue.

For AEE/Telecom Position: Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university. AICTE-recognized and UGC-approved equivalent qualifications are also acceptable.

For AEE/Civil Position: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university in India. Only UGC-recognized and AICTE-approved qualifications will be considered.

Important Notes on Qualifications: Candidates must possess all required certificates as on the last date of application submission. Distance-mode degrees from state universities outside Andhra Pradesh are NOT valid. Equivalency certificates from the Registrar must be submitted if claiming equivalent qualifications.

Reservation Policy & Rule of Reservation

The recruitment follows the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres & Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025, known as the Presidential Order. Vertical reservations are provided for Schedule Castes (SC) Groups I, II & III, Schedule Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC) A through E, and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Horizontal reservations include 33.33% for Women and 4% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Selection Process for AEE Recruitment 2026

Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)

Service Bond & Important Conditions

Bond Duration: Total bond period of 7 years (2 years probation + 5 years after probation). Every selected candidate must execute a Service Bond on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper (Rs. 110/-) at the time of joining.

Liquidated Damages: If candidate leaves during 2-year probation: Rs. 5,00,000/- plus emoluments received. If candidate resigns without completing 5 years post-probation service: Rs. 10,00,000/-. These are recoverable through civil proceedings as per Indian Contract Act, 1872.

Certificate Custody: Original certificates (Degree, Date of Birth, Community) must be deposited with the organization during bond period.
