IIT Mandi Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 6th January 2026)
Age Relaxation

Educational Qualification & Experience
Requirements vary by specialization. Below is the general structure for most technical posts:
Engineering Trades (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computing):
- ITI in relevant trade + 5 years experience.
- OR Diploma (3 years) + 2 years experience.
- OR B.Tech + 1 year experience.
Science Trades (Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture):
- B.Sc. or above in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks + 2 years experience.
Note: All candidates must have knowledge of computer office applications.
- Option 1:ITI in relevant trade + 5 years working experience
- Option 2: 3-year Diploma in relevant discipline + 2 years working experience
- Option 3: B.Tech or above in relevant discipline + 1 year working experience
For Science Disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture, etc.)
- B.Sc. or above with relevant subject (minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA)
- 2 years working experience in relevant discipline
- Knowledge of computer office applications
For Computer Science/IT Positions
- Option 1: 3-year Diploma in CS/IT + 2 years working experience
- Option 2: B.Tech/MCA in CS/IT + 1 year working experience

For Biosciences & Bioengineering

IIT Mandl 2025 Salary & Pay Level
- Pay Level: 04 (as per 7th Central Pay Commission)
- Approximate Salary Range: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month (basic pay + allowances)
- Probation: All positions start on a probation period, which leads to regularization upon successful completion.
