Stage 2: Skill Test

Based on performance in the Written Test, candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in a 1:5 ratio (generally), with a minimum of 10 candidates per category. The Skill Test is purely qualifying in nature and is evaluated on a 100-point scale. The minimum qualifying marks in the Skill Test is 60 out of 100.



The Skill Test is a chalk-and-board-based test to assess the teaching skills of the candidate. Each candidate will be given a subject-oriented topic and asked to demonstrate subject knowledge and teaching ability by handling a class.

Final Selection and Tie-Breaker Rules

  • Final selection is based entirely on Written Test marks for candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
