Guntur District Backlog SC ST Recruitment 2023: Applications are invited through online for recruitment to the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes Backlog vacancies for a total of 54 vacancies from the candidates of Erstwhile Guntur District, within the age group of 18 – 52 years as on 01.07.2022.

ELIGIBILITY for Guntur District Backlog Recruitment 2023

  • He/ She shall be a candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste I Scheduled Tribe community.
  • He/ She shall be a local candidate of Erstwhile Guntur District.
  • He /She must possess the basic qualification and other qualifications prescribed for the post.
  • His / Her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him/her for such service.

Guntur District Backlog Recruitment 2023 Education Qualifications

The candidate should possess the prescribed academic qualification (as specified at Para Number 1.7) as per the date of this notification. In respect of other than prescribed Educational Qualifications, claiming equivalence, the decision of the District Selection Committee shall be final.

Note:If the applicant possesses an equivalence of qualification other than prescribed qualification in the SC/ ST Backlog notification, applicant should produce a copy of the Government Orders to the District Selection Committee in advance within 7 days of last date for submitting applications, failing which their application will be rejected.

  1. Should complete 3 months Inland Fisheries Training at Training Centre, Badampudi, Eluru, West Godavari District.

Guntur District SC & ST Backlog Recruitment 2023RESERVATIONS:

There will be reservations in SC/ST Backlog Recruitment in respect of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes only.

Caste & Community:

Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in terms of G.O. Ms No. 58, SW (J) Dept., dt.12.05.1997 should be submitted at appropriate time, as per A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules, Rule – 2(28) Explanation. In so far as claiming for SC reservation is concerned, no person who professes a religion different from Hinduism shall be deemed a member of Schedule Caste. However, Scheduled Caste converts to Buddhism deemed to be Scheduled Caste. BCs, SCs, STs& EWS belonging to other States are not entitled for reservation.

Guntur District Backlog Recruitment 2023LOCAL STATUS

Reservation for Non-local candidates is not applicable as all the posts are reserved for the Local Candidates of the Erstwhile Guntur district only.

Single certificate, whether of study or residence as stipulated in G.O.Ms.No.674, General Administration (SPF-A) Dept., dated:20.10.1975 would suffice for enabling the candidate to apply as a “LOCAL CANDIDATE” and also follow the guidelines laid in G.O.Ms.No.168, G.A. (SPF-A) Dept., dt.10.03.1977.

Candidates who migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh between 2ndJune, 2014 and
1st June, 2021 as per G.O.Ms.No. 130, General Administration (SPF & MC) Department, Dated 29.10.2019 and as per terms laid down in Circular Memo No.4136/SPF& MC/2015-5, Dated 20.11.2017 of Government of Andhra Pradesh shall obtain the Local Status Certificate from competent authority and produce at the time of verification.

The candidates shall produce study certificates from Class 4th to 10th and up to their academic qualification prescribed for the post they have applied for, and also produce any certificates as specified in the existing rules for this purposeto claim their local status.

Go through the instructions furnished in website under “ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS” before filling up of the online application.

By clicking “APPLY ONLINE” you will found “INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL ONLINE APPLICATION” and read carefully the instructions.

After reading the instruction, you’ll find “PROCEED TO APPLICATION”. By clicking it you’ll be forwarded to “APPLICANT DETAILS ENTRY”. Select Post applying for and then select the Caste Category and then click on “PROCEED”. Now you’ll be shown the online application to enter your complete details. Fill up the details carefully and read the declaration and then click on “SUBMIT”.

Once Submitted the online application, you’ll be shown the “APPLICATION RECEIPT”. Print the application receipt and preserve it for future correspondence.

Applicant can check the details submitted online by clicking on “VIEW YOUR APPLICATION”.

If any changes in the submitted application, candidate can go to the “EDIT APPLICATION DETAILS” option provided in Home page. After satisfying the details entered, the applicant can take a print of the online application by clicking “PRINT APPLICATION” and preserve it for future correspondence.

Guntur District Backlog Recruitment 2023 NOTE:

A. Online Application Registrations and Edit Application Details are permitted from 28.03.2023 10:00 AM to 08.04.2021 05:00 PM only. Any changes made by the applicant on subsequent dates shall not be allowed.

B. The District Selection Committee is not responsible for any mistakes made by the applicant while submitting the application online. Hence applicants must strictly follow the mentioned instructions before submitting the application.

C. Incomplete/incorrect applications will be rejected. Any information submitted after the specified timeline will not be entertained by the District Selection Committee under any circumstances. If any mistake made by the candidate during scrutiny is detected, their candidature will be rejected even at the final stage of the recruitment process or even at subsequent stages and may also be liable for punishment.

Guntur District SC & ST Backlog Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

The Process of Guntur District Backlog Recruitment 2023 shall be made by the District Selection Committee.

There shall be No Written examinations and Interviews (Oral Tests) as per G.O. Ms.No. 126 & 127 General Administration (Services-A) Department dated: 19.10.2022.

The Selection for Guntur District Backlog Recruitment 2023 of the candidate will be made only on basis of the marks obtained in the basic qualification as specified in Para Number 1.7.

Merit will only be considered on the marks obtained in the basic qualification as prescribed in Para Number 1.7. If any School / College / University issues certificate in terms of GPA, CGPA other than the method of marks, the Grade Points Average obtained therein will be calculated to 100 percent to determine merit. (Eg: if a candidate gets 8.4 GPA/CGPA, it will be calculated as 84%.

In case, the respective school / college / university converts the same GPA/CGPA to marks percentage as 79%, this percentage will only be considered for merit). Apart from the above mentioned methods, if any School / College / University awards letter grades like A+, A, B+, B,… etc., OR A1, A2, B1, B2 … etc., OR other grades like 1st Class, 2nd Class, … etc., It is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain the marks list from the School / College / University concerned and only those marks should be submitted in the online application.

If the marks obtained in the basic qualification as specified in Para Number 1.?are entered incorrectly in the online application, the candidature will be rejected.



If two or more candidates get equal total number of marks, The oldest being considered for admission. In case there is tie in age, the person who possesses educational qualification at earlier date would be considered.

Proficiency Test in Office Automation with usage of Computer and associated Software shall be conducted for the Shortlisted Candidates for the post of Junior Assistant/Typist/Junior Steno vide G.O.Ms.No.133, General Administration (Services-D) Department dated: 12.05.2014.The above Proficiency Test is a qualifying test. The Marks obtained in the Proficiency Test shall not be included in calculating the Merit

The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical examination and if he/she is of sound health, active habits and free from any bodily defect conformity
