SSC CPO SI 2024 Vacancy

The category-wise and post-wise SSC CPO Vacancy 2024 for Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (General Duty) in CAPFs has been released along with SSC CPO Notification 2024. This year, the total number of vacancies for the SSC CPO 2024 Exam is 4187.

The details of the Vacancies for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination for last year are as follows:

 

 

SSC CPO SI Nationality/ Citizenship

• A candidate must be either:
• 1. a citizen of India, or
• 2. a subject of Nepal, or
• 3. a subject of Bhutan, or
• 4. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
• 5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India

SSC CPO SI Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2024)

For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs- A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.

For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only)– Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Only those candidates who qualify in PST/PET will be allowed to appear in Paper-II Examination.

On the basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II (including bonus marks in case of NCC certificate), candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Medical Examination.

• Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters, i.e., https://ssc.nic.in.
• For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-I and Annexure-II of this Notice.
• Sample Proforma of One-time Registration and online Application Forms are attached as Annexure-IA and Annexure-IIA.
• The application module has been designed to capture live photograph of the candidate filling up the application form.
• The candidates should ensure that the photograph captured is clear, without cap or spectacles, and with full frontal view.
• The specimens of acceptable/ not acceptable photograph are given in Annexure XI.
• In case the photograph captured is not as per acceptable specimen, the candidates are advised to recapture the photograph.
• Applications with photographs not in accordance with the acceptable specimen are liable to be rejected.
• Last date and time for submission of online applications is 28.3.2024 (2300 hours)

 

Below are the steps that one needs to take for successful online registration for the exam:

Step 1: Click on the official link which is provided on this page.

Step 2: Click on link of Apply Link given on the official page. The registration link will open up in the new window.

Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC CPO 2024 application window and then click on the register button.

Step 4: To begin with the registration, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID.

Candidates are required to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates would have to upload photographs and signatures following the requisites mentioned by SSC.

Photograph – The photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light-coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

Signature – The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

Step 7: Login with a registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form.

Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates must preview the entire application form, once to look for any glitches in the form.

Step 9: Click on the Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CPO application form.

Step 10: Pay the required application fee to submit your form successfully. The payment of application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.
