SSC CPO 2025 Recruitment Notification [Out] for 3073 Vacancies

SSC conducts the SSC CPO Exam to recruit candidates for the position of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The SSC CPO 2025 exam will be conducted in four stages – Paper I, Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates who qualify in each stage will be shortlisted for the positions of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (General Duty) in other CAPFs. The following positions will be recruited through the SSC CPO 2025 Exam.

Mode of Payment- Online only (Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI, etc)

The candidates can proceed to submit the application fee for SSC CPO 2025 either via online mode only. A candidate must pay Rs. 100/- as the Online Application Fee. The fees once paid will not be refunded.

Steps to Apply for SSC CPO Exam 2025

Below are the steps that one needs to take for successful online registration for the exam:

Step 1: Click on the official link which is provided on this page.

Step 2: Click on link of Apply Link given on the official page. The registration link will open up in the new window.

Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC CPO 2025 application window and then click on the register button.

Step 4: To begin with the registration, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID.

Candidates are required to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates would have to upload photographs and signatures following the requisites mentioned by SSC.

Photograph – The photograph must be clicked in front of a white or light-coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

Signature – The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format, and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

Step 7: Login with a registered ID and password to complete the Part II of the application form.

Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates must preview the entire application form, once to look for any glitches in the form.

Step 9: Click on the Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC CPO application form.

Step 10: Pay the required application fee to submit your form successfully. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.

SSC CPO 2025 Eligibility

To apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2025, the candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirement. There are 3 criteria that a candidate needs to fulfill to be eligible for the SSC CPO 2025 Exam. Check the detailed eligibility criteria below section-:
SSC CPO SI Nationality/ Citizenship

A candidate must be either:

1. a citizen of India, or
2. a subject of Nepal, or
3. a subject of Bhutan, or
4. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
5. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India

SSC CPO SI Educational Qualification

For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs- A candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.

For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only)– Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

SSC CPO SI Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

The age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years i.e., the Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.2000 and not later than
01.08.2005 to be eligible to apply.

• Minimum Age Limit – 20 years
• Maximum Age Limit – 25 years

SSC CPO Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST : 5 years
• OBC : 3 years
• Ex-servicemen (ESM) : 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
• Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married. : Up to 35 years of age
• Widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married. (SC/ ST) : Up to 40 years of age
• Departmental candidates (Unreserved) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date Up to 30 years of age
• Departmental candidates (OBC) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date. Up to 33 years of age
• Departmental candidates (SC/ ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on closing date. Up to 35 years of age

SSC CPO 2025 Selection Process

The SSC CPO 2025 selection process has four stages. First, candidates will take Paper 1, a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Then, they must pass the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Next is Paper 2, another Computer-Based Test which is English Comprehension. Finally, candidates who clear all previous stages will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Each stage must be cleared to move to the next one.

SSC CPO 2025 Exam Pattern

• Questions asked in both paper-1 and paper-2 of SSC CPO 2025 will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
• Questions asked in Paper 1 will be bilingual, i.e. in both Hindi and English, while questions in Paper 2 will be only in the English.
• 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked by a candidate for both Paper 1 & 2.
• The total time duration is 2 hours with a sectional timer of 30 minutes for each part.
