Selection for the post of RBI Assistant 2025 will be done in three stages:

OBC Candidates

Must produce an OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate based on income for FY 2024-25, 2023-24, and 2022-23, issued on or after April 1, 2025 and not later than the closing date (March 8, 2026). Candidates in the Creamy Layer must apply under the General category.

EWS Candidates

Must have a valid Income & Asset Certificate for FY 2024-25 (valid for 2025-26), issued in the Government of India prescribed format. If not in possession by March 8, 2026, apply under General (GEN) category.

PwBD Candidates

Must possess a permanent disability certificate from a competent authority. Disability conditions “likely to improve” under temporary disability are NOT eligible for reservation.
