AAI Recruitment Through GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for the AAI recruitment through GATE 2024, applicants must be citizens of India. Furthermore, only those who have completed their engineering degree in relevant branches can apply.

AAI Recruitment Through GATE Age Limit

For AAI recruitment through GATE, applicants must not exceed the age limit of 27 years. The age limit of applicants will be calculated as on 01.05.2024. Moreover, age relaxation will be provided as per government norms.

• The maximum age limit can be extended by 3 years for OBC (NCL) applicants.
• 5 years of age relaxation will be given to applicants belonging to the SC and ST categories.
• Aspirants with disabilities (PWD) can have a maximum age relaxation of 10 years.
• Moreover, for ex-servicemen, age relaxation is in accordance with Government of India orders issued periodically.
• Applicants currently in regular service with AAI are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of 10 years.
• Only the date of birth as stated in the matriculation or secondary examination certificate will be considered valid, and no requests to change the date of birth afterward will be entertained.

The AAI recruitment through GATE 2024 selection process consists of shortlisting applications on the basis of their GATE scorecard and documentation verification after confirming the merit list issued by the officials.

• Shortlisted applicants will receive a notification regarding the next round on their registered email IDs.
• The selected applicants must report to AAI for document verification on the dates provided in their respective call letters.
• Applicants must provide their original certificates as well as a photo ID and one set of self-attested photocopies of the certificates listed while filling out application form.
• Following verification, final selection will be made on the basis of a merit list based on the applicant GATE 2024 score.

Step 1: Registration

• Applicants must register themselves first by entering the post they are eligible for.
• Once done, move forward by filling out the GATE year, paper, registration number, All India Rank (AIR), score, and marks out of 100.
• Applicants will be required to enter their name, a valid email ID, and an active phone number.
• Upon successful registration, applicants will receive their username and password generated by the system, which will be sent to their email address.

Step 2: Log In

• Applicants will need to login using their user ID and password sent to them via email. A change of password is possible at this stage.
• After logging in, aspirants must fill out their personal, academic, and other details as asked by the administration.
• Applicants are advised to thoroughly check their details before making the final submission.

Step 3: Uploading a Photograph and a Signature

• Applicants have to upload their signatures and photos as instructed. The dimensions and specs are listed below.
• Applicants must wait 24 hours after submitting the form before paying application fees.

Step 4: Paying Application Fees

• Applicants must wait 24 hours before making payment after submitting the application form.
• Applicants who are female, PWD, or SC/ST are excluded from paying the application fee. They can print their application form by going right to the print option.
• An application fee of INR 300 is to be paid online via Internet Banking, debit, or credit card only from the State Bank Collect System.
• Aspirants should keep the 10-digit transaction reference number beginning with “DU” generated after payment for future reference.
