GDS Salary 2026 – TRCA Pay Scale for BPM, ABPM and Dak Sevak

India Post GDS 2026 employees are not regular Central Government staff, and hence do not draw a regular pay scale. Instead, they are paid a Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA), which increases annually by 3%, along with applicable Dearness Allowance and other benefits such as GDS Gratuity and the Service Discharge Benefit Scheme (equivalent to NPS for regular employees).

GDS Job Profile and Service Conditions

BPMs handle overall postal operations, IPPB banking services, marketing of Department products, and mail conveyance/delivery at Branch Post Offices, and must arrange accommodation for the Branch Post Office at their own cost within the post village.
